  • To mark the end of anti-bullying week and to raise money for Children in Need, the staff and pupils all came to school in non-uniform on 20th November.  We had a theme of its 'cool to be kind.'  There were a lot of sunglasses being worn even though the sun wasn't shining!

  • PC Kadodia came into school to speak to the year 5 and 6 children about internet safety on Wednesday 7th October.  She gave a presentation about the benefits and dangers of the internet and also cyberbullying and what the children could do to prevent themselves being at risk.  At the end of the presentation she even showed the children her utility belt, including her ASP and handcuffs! For photos of the talk (and hopefully, in time) and a copy of the presentation click here.

  • The children were lucky enough to see a theatre production of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" on Friday 25th September in the afternoon.  The whole school sat in the hall as the actors told this very famous story.  A pleasure to watch and enjoyed by all!

  • The week of 21st September the school borrowed vocting booths t cast votes for both school councillors and house captains.  Each nominee had to give a speech to the voters and then each person was able to vote using "official" voting slips.  The children learnt a lot about the process of an election during this week.  Well done to all the nominees for your speeches and enthusiasm!  Click here to see photos of the elections taking place.
